Description:
This position is accountable for supporting and promoting the Hospital and Departmental mission through high quality patient care, customer service and information management. This position is accountable for interacting with internal and external customers and representing the Physical Medicine Department on a daily basis. The Physical Medicine Department provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services, which include Physical, Occupational, Speech therapy and Therapeutic Recreation. As a member of the Physical Medicine department (PMR), the employee will participate in applicable departmental training programs, continuing education and self-development to support the departmental functions and maintain acceptable standards of Speech Language Pathology practice. Services provided within the scope of this position, will meet the needs of the population served. The population served is adolescent to geriatric.
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
Minimum years in field previous to employment: 2
Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
