Description:
Immediate opportunity for Monitor Technicians day and night shifts. We prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience
Provides continuous observation of monitored EKG patterns of patients on telemetry and reports significant information to appropriate nursing personnel. Functions within a designated hospital area to assist nursing personnel in the close observation of monitored patients.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School/GED
Preferred number of years experience in field: Two (2) years
Must be familiar with computerized technology associated with telemetry equipment. Must be mature and dependable to deal effectively with a variety of patients, families, hospital staff and other personnel. Experience as a Monitor Technician desirable, hospital background preferred. Demonstrate knowledge in the area of EKG interpretation through one of the following: a)Pass the Basic Dysrhythmia Rhythm Interpretation Exam, b)Successfully complete the Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course.
